Meet Our Teachers!

PAMELA MARSHALL

Registered RAD & ADA Teacher
RAD Life Member

Senior Cultural Person of the Year 2018

I am a registered Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) teacher and an Australasian Dance Association (ADA) teacher. I am a Life Member of the RAD. In order to retain my registration, each year I must meet complete professional development seminars, workshops, study etc. Both the RAD and ADA are dynamic, innovative organisations, who are constantly changing to excel in order to give students a solid pathway to a career in dance if they so wish.

Many of my past students have established careers in the performing arts industry in  different ways. Georgie Baumann and Samantha Robinson are and have been Broncos Cheer Leaders. Congratulations to Josie Weise on being offered a contract to dance professionally with the iconic Sydney Dance Company this year. This is a fantastic achievement. Past students have danced on cruise ships, had contracts with shows at Jupiter’s Casino, danced for Disneyland Japan, and have even joined the circus. I have also had the pleasure of teaching many students who have gone on to open their own dance studios, such as Desiree from LAD and Tina from Sparks Dance Centre. Others teach in well-established dance schools all over the world. Some students have gone on to gain the necessary qualifications to teach dance in schools or to have a career in the fitness industry.

I am committed to delivering quality teaching in a caring and nurturing environment. I will endeavour to provide each student with an experience of a lifetime, bringing them great enjoyment and instilling in them a love and an appreciation for the performing arts.

I was awarded the 2018 Fraser Coast Regional Council Australia Day Award – Senior Cultural Person of the Year.

This was such a great honour.
